What NOT to forget in your luggage!
On every island mentioned including the best restaurants and clubs there is a laid back relaxed vibe that creates an Island Casual dress code everywhere you go.
Focus on comfortable breathable clothing that does well in warm weather. Clothes that have SPF built in are a great option, often, they will have the desired moisture wicking fabric plus the added benefit of keeping your skin safe from the harsh tropical sun.
Love your skin! Bring your sunscreen and a hat that doubles for beach days, fun jungle excursions and mountain adventures.
An absolute must if adventuring beyond the ocean breeze and into the jungle on any of your island adventures, is bug spray! I have recently fallen in love with Lemongrass Spa’s “Bug a Boo,” even with my mosquito sugar martini flavored blood, I have yet to get one bite while using this magical chemical free bug spray!
Most of your days will be spent in the crystal-clear cobalt blue water that these islands are known for, so make sure to bring at least 2 or 3 bathing suits, things dry out on island time and you do not want to be stuck with a wet suit your whole trip.
Of coarse beach sandals and comfortable hiking shoes are a must BUT make sure you have a pair of amphibious shoes for walking amongst the beautiful yet sharp coral.
Most of the Pacific Islands are extremely remote so make sure you do not rely on any last-minute shopping for necessities, or snacks. You will be very limited on the islands so bring everything you need with you maybe even some extra snacks.
Summary of the little things NOT to forget in your luggage!
· Island casual wardrobe (lightweight fabric with SPF)
· Adventure Sunhat
· Bug spray
· 2 or 3 bathing suits
· Amphibious shoes (protect your feet from sharp coral)
The bags are packed, flights are booked, the friendliest people in the world in one of the most beautiful places on earth are begging for you to come and explore.
